FIFA-style presentation. Not FIFA-style medicine.

We've made this easy and satisfying to compare, but deliberately avoided made-up “92 pace / 89 shooting” medical scores. Where a number appears, it is tied to a named trial. Different trials are not direct head-to-head contests unless stated.

What should actually influence a decision?

Can you use it now?

An authorised medicine with a regulated supply chain has a practical advantage over a future treatment, even when a future trial percentage looks larger.

Does the evidence fit you?

Diabetes status, starting BMI, comorbidities, trial duration and analysis methods affect results.

Will you stick with it?

Weekly injection, monthly injection and daily tablet all create different real-life adherence trade-offs.

Current vs future: don't miss the obvious

Some visitors will be deciding whether to use a treatment available today or wait for something newer. That is why Mounjaro and Wegovy are included as benchmark options in the dropdown.

If your health needs treatment now, a future drug should not automatically delay an appropriate current option. If you're doing well already, there is equally no need to jump treatments simply because a new one arrives.

Direct head-to-head studies matter more than internet scorecards

Retatrutide has a dedicated Phase 3 comparison programme against tirzepatide. CagriSema has direct-comparison work against tirzepatide. Those trials will tell us much more than lining up unrelated headline percentages from separate studies.

Until then, our comparison checker shows the evidence honestly rather than declaring a fake winner.

Shift Says

The most exciting treatment on paper isn't automatically the best treatment in real life. The winner is the option that is safe for you, evidence-based, genuinely available, affordable enough to sustain and effective enough to improve your health.

Use the checker to understand the landscape. Use a qualified clinician to make the treatment decision.
