How the Progress Centre works.

The dashboard is designed to show trends and organise information. It is not remote medical monitoring.

Where your data is stored

The static Progress Centre uses browser localStorage on the device you are using. In this release, your entries are not synced to a server or account. Clearing browser storage can delete them, so use the export function if you want a backup.

What it calculates

BMI is recalculated from your Health MOT height and each saved weight. Weight and waist charts show the values you enter over time. The dashboard does not estimate body-fat percentage or predict medical outcomes.

Blood pressure

Blood pressure can be logged for trend purposes, but the dashboard does not diagnose hypertension. NHS interpretation depends on how and where readings are taken and on repeated measurements.

Steps, sleep, protein and hydration

These are self-reported progress measures. They are useful for spotting patterns but do not prove causation. A low-weight-loss week with better sleep and activity can still be a useful week.

Treatment tracker

The tracker stores treatment name, dose/stage, start date and a broad side-effect status. It does not recommend dose changes, tell you when to titrate or replace prescriber review.

Maintenance range

A personal maintenance range is a behavioural tool, not a clinical standard. The dashboard deliberately avoids declaring a single “correct” maintenance weight.

What this release does not do

It does not send emergency alerts, diagnose high blood pressure, interpret blood tests, provide clinical dose advice or guarantee that local browser data will persist forever.
