Shift Health MOT

Build a clearer picture of your health.

Weight is only one part of it. Review your waist, blood pressure, metabolic health, sleep, nutrition, movement, stress and eating patterns — then turn the answers into sensible priorities.

Before you start

This is educational decision support, not a medical assessment. It does not diagnose disease, calculate your chance of a heart attack or tell you which medicine to take. Urgent or severe symptoms need proper medical care.

Your answers are stored only in this browser by this public Health MOT and are not sent anywhere by this static-site tool. The signed-in My Shift Progress Centre is a separate account-backed feature; this public MOT does not silently upload these answers into it.

Your target

How much timber would you like to shift?

Pick what feels meaningful. We’ll translate it into stone, pounds, kilograms and percentage of your starting weight.

Choose a target to see it in context.

A number on the scales can sound abstract. We’ll show the approximate equivalent mass for perspective — not as a literal prediction of body-fat loss.

What would different levels of weight loss mean numerically?

These are simple weight and BMI scenarios, not promises about health outcomes.

Three routes from here

Take this to an appointment

Print or save the report and use it to organise the questions you want to discuss with a GP, pharmacist, dietitian or weight-management clinician.

The Health MOT is a map, not a verdict.

It should help you notice the things worth acting on and point you toward useful information. It should never make you feel diagnosed by a webpage.

How this MOT works

The report uses transparent rules based on current UK guidance where established thresholds exist, and deliberately softer language where they do not. BMI, waist-to-height ratio, home/clinic blood pressure, weekly alcohol and physical-activity guidance use published NHS/NICE reference points. Nutrition, stress, mobility and eating-pattern sections are behavioural prompts rather than diagnostic scores.
