Commercial principles

Revenue does not get a vote in your treatment ranking.

Shift is a commercial business. The useful bit is being clear about where money sits in the journey.

The rules

Evidence before revenue

Commercial value does not override licensed indications, safety information, evidence quality or UK guidance.

No margin-led ranking

Finder and comparison logic must not favour an option because it produces more revenue.

Relationships declared

Relevant provider, pharmacy, affiliate or commercial relationships are disclosed where they could influence how a customer reads a recommendation or link.

NHS stays on the table

Private treatment is not presented as automatically better than NHS care or a properly structured non-medication route.

No fake urgency

No invented scarcity, countdown pressure or made-up treatment testimonials.

Information stays independent

Evidence pages are not quietly rewritten into advertisements because a commercial relationship exists elsewhere.

Prescription medicines

Shift Some Timber does not prescribe or supply medication. Educational content about prescription treatments remains information and decision support, not an instruction to buy a prescription-only medicine.

If Shift earns from a route

The customer should be able to understand that before acting on the relevant commercial link or offer. A conflict is manageable when it is visible; hidden incentives are the problem.
