SHIFT Newsroom

PORTABLE CONTINUITY · WHEN THE CLINIC GOES QUIET

Your support should not disappear with your last clinic.

If a provider stops replying, you change pharmacy, your medicine changes or treatment ends, you should not have to rebuild your whole health story from scratch.

SHIFT keeps the non-clinical parts together: your goals, Life Back check-ins, Journey, Grub, Fit and Health Passport. Medicine decisions remain with the appropriate healthcare professional.

Your prescription does not have to move.

My Timber is free. You can use it alongside treatment from another provider, between providers or after treatment. You do not need to buy treatment from SHIFT.

Keep your starting point

Use the same My Timber account for your saved Journey priorities, Life Back goals and check-ins. Changing provider is not a reason to create another account.

Keep the practical help

Grub, Fit and your Next Shift remain in My Timber. Pick one useful thing for today; you do not have to complete every tool.

Keep a say in what happens next

Tell us whether your offered step helped or did not fit. Your saved feedback helps shape the next practical suggestion.

Changing provider does not reset your My Timber account. Manage optional health tracking and your saved information in Settings.

This is practical support, not a transfer of clinical records or a prescription. Your clinician remains responsible for medicine decisions.

What stays with you

Your reason

Keep the everyday thing you are trying to get back to, even if the prescription or provider changes.

Your progress

Keep your own Journey, Life Back and Passport record rather than treating every new service as day one.

Your practical support

Food planning, movement and the next useful action can continue without pretending they replace clinical care.

If the old clinic is not responding

Do not guess at medicine changes or use somebody else’s prescription. Keep the medicine name, dose, last dose date and any relevant records you already have. Contact your GP, pharmacist or an appropriate regulated service when you need clinical advice or ongoing prescribing.

For the practical side, use the coming-off guide, food-noise guidance and Life Back. If you are moving provider rather than stopping treatment, use our provider-switch Continuity guide.

Portable, not provider-locked

SHIFT is designed so your support can continue before, during and after treatment, including when treatment started elsewhere. That does not mean a new provider must accept an old prescription, dose or clinical decision. It means your own goals and support history do not need to vanish because the logo on the prescription changed.
